Almost fruity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Afterthoughts, October 2010:<\/strong> So soon after the initial <a title=\"Diary entry #1: Sam Adam's 'Boston Lager'\" href=\"http:\/\/philcook.net\/beerdiary\/2004\/01\/07\/sam-adams-boston-lager\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sam Adams<\/a> was I again undone by naively thinking that all and only lagers were golden. The path to Beer Nerdery is beset with wonderful re-jugglings of preconceptions like that.
