I&#8217;m in Sydney for a few more days, having one of those holidays<a name=\"tag-changeover1\"><\/a><a href=\"#fn-changeover1\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a> wherein you stop wearing your watch, stop wearing even <i>shoes<\/i>, and swiftly lose track of what day it is. Procrastinating somewhat from a &#8220;Sydney Reading&#8221; post (to which I&#8217;ll return tomorrow), I realised that I&#8217;d (<a href=\"http:\/\/philcook.net\/beerdiary\/2011\/08\/30\/overdue-housekeeping\/\" target=\"_blank\">again<\/a>) gotten way behind in transcribing my scribbled notes into the &#8220;real&#8221; (but only slightly less scribbly) Diary, and so spent a few minutes catching-up, only to discover that I&#8217;ve filled it up. Luckily, Em found the supercute blue one pictured above on her European holiday, and it&#8217;s ready to take over.<\/p>\n<p><em>Diary II<\/em> started on 6 September 2010 with <a title=\"Diary II entry #1: Yeastie Boys 'Her Majesty' 2010\" href=\"http:\/\/philcook.net\/beerdiary\/2010\/09\/06\/yeastie-boys-her-majesty-2010\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yeastie Boys &#8216;Her Majesty&#8217; 2010<\/a> and ended, damn near bang on three years later with the adorably-mad Yeastie Boys \/ Firestone Walker \/ Panhead collaboration &#8216;Engelbert Pumpernickel&#8217; as its two-hundred-and-seventy-seventh entry \u2014 which means I&#8217;m having a beer-related moment<a name=\"tag-changeover2\"><\/a><a href=\"#fn-changeover2\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/a> worth scribbling about every four days, on average; a steady (but not unhealthy) acceleration from the first\u00a0<em>Diary<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This is my Beer Diary;<a name=\"tag-changeover3\"><\/a><a href=\"#fn-changeover3\"><sup>3<\/sup><\/a> it really does exist primarily\u00a0<em>as an actual diary<\/em>.
